Director Corporate Communications

Role Overview

As the Director of Global Corporate Communications, you will shape and manage Bitpanda’s global commercial reputation and showcase our disruptive technology to the world.

Responsibilities

• Build, own, and implement Bitpanda’s global communications strategy across PR and corporate communications.
• Develop, lead, and mentor the global communications team, both in‑office and distributed across key markets.
• Create and implement impactful communication plans and initiatives, and report performance on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
• Support multiple executives with all communication needs, including key messages, talking points, presentations, event attendance, and speaking arrangements.
• Find, tell, and share great stories—both immediate and long‑term—and identify new communication angles and innovative ideas to reach our users through earned media and other communication channels.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience with a strong track record in corporate communications and public relations (social media experience is a plus).
• Experience building and leading effective, results‑oriented communication teams at scale across various regions and markets.
• Exquisite copywriting, editing, presentation, and public‑speaking skills.
• Thoughtful, collaborative leadership with strong communication and relationship skills and the ability to influence others.
• Fast‑paced, resilient, and open to change in a rapidly growing global business that requires creativity, quick learning, and out‑of‑the‑box thinking.
• Strategic thinking across short, medium, and long term, while obsessing over details.
• Full professional proficiency in English (written and verbal). German language proficiency is an advantage.
