Director – Business Technology – Italian Market

Working within the EMEA Digital & Technology Services (DTS) practice, this Director role focuses on the Italian market, enabling on‑site business technology transformation for Private Equity funds, corporates, and financial services clients.

Purpose of the role

This is a hands‑on opportunity to join a high‑impact Business Technology team and drive transformational projects and technology strategy in Italy.

Responsibilities

• Lead work streams and project teams, collaborating with senior technical and business stakeholders, and present to C‑suite executives.
• Provide technology and product due‑diligence, post‑deal integration, and enterprise‑wide performance improvement initiatives.
• Drive technology restructuring, product and platform re‑design, and assistance with operational re‑engineering.
• Support interim management roles as needed (CIO, CTO, IT Director, Program Manager, etc.).

Requirements

• Strong consulting background: framing business problems, analyzing data, building financial models in Excel, and delivering clear presentations.
• Strategic problem‑solving experience with international teams in technology transformation, Enterprise Architecture, Cost Reduction, and Target Operating Model Design.
• Track record of leading pre‑ and post‑deal technology projects, including due‑diligence, carve‑outs, and modernization initiatives.
