As Direct Sales, you will be a cornerstone in realizing BauWatch’s growth ambitions in Italy. You will actively contribute to the commercial plan by identifying new market opportunities, acquiring customers, and building long‑term relationships. This is a hands‑on, field‑based role combining business development, customer engagement, and collaboration with marketing and key account teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth by acquiring new customers and following up on marketing leads
- Identify, develop, and nurture new and existing customer relationships to build long‑term partnerships
- Conduct regular site visits within the assigned geographical area (cold visits, scheduled meetings, and technical evaluations)
- Deliver company presentations to potential and existing clients, including at trade fairs and events
- Contribute to the commercial plan by identifying, leveraging, and nurturing sales opportunities
- Work with Italian and international colleagues to share best practices and commercial ideas
- Deliver outstanding customer satisfaction by responding to customer needs, handling complaints, and informing clients about new developments and BauWatch solutions
- Advise the Managing Director, Product Management, and Group Management on market opportunities, risks, and potential adjustments to commercial strategy based on market insights and data
What we expect from you
- 3–5 years of relevant sales experience
- Previous experience or relationships within the construction, renewables, or security industry
- Strong customer focus with the ability to adapt to client needs
- Independent and proactive, able to manage your work autonomously
- Motivated, target-driven, and willing to go the extra mile
- Friendly team player with a can‑do attitude and strong communication skills
- Flexible and adaptable to changing environments, tasks, and priorities
- Experience with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce)
- Willingness to travel within the assigned region and periodically to Milan HQ
