Alibaba.com is looking for an energetic and motivated Sales Executive to join our growing team in Milan.
This is an entry-level commercial role focused on outbound sales and new client acquisition in the Italian market. We are looking for candidates who are eager to build a career in tech sales, enjoy speaking with clients, and are motivated by targets and performance.
You will work closely with small and medium-sized businesses, helping them discover how Alibaba.com can support their digital growth and international expansion.
Responsibilities
- Identify and contact potential clients in the Italian market through outbound sales activities (calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach).
- Build and manage a pipeline of prospective customers.
- Present Alibaba.com solutions to SMEs and explain platform benefits clearly and effectively.
- Achieve monthly sales and activity targets.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g. Customer Success and Marketing) to ensure accurate understanding and execution of client needs, enhancing satisfaction and retention.
- Keep CRM and sales activities updated accurately.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to strengthen brand presence and expand market reach.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 0-2 year(s) of sales experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles.
- Good communication and negotiation skills, with a proactive, results-driven attitude.
- Proficiency in Italian and English.
- Team-oriented, self-motivated, open to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment with performance-based targets.
