Digitizer Marker Head

Responsible for implementing best practices in using CAD software and other digital tools for pattern making, sample development, and design.

Oversee the entire sample development process, from concept to final product, ensuring timely execution and adherence to quality standards. Collaborate with the design and production teams to achieve the desired design aesthetics and functionality.

Utilize CAD software to create and modify patterns, samples, and design prototypes. Ensure that all CAD designs are accurate and align with the design team's vision.

Identify and implement the latest CAD technologies and tools that can enhance efficiency and accuracy in the sample development process. Stay updated with industry trends and innovations in CAD.

Lead and manage the Sample & CAD team, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to enhance their skills and productivity. Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment within the department.

Establish and maintain strict quality control measures to ensure that all samples and CAD designs meet the company's quality standards and customer requirements.

Collaborate with various departments, including design, production, and merchandising, to align sample development with production capabilities and customer demands.

Identify opportunities to optimize costs in the sample development process without compromising on quality and design integrity.

Streamline the sample development workflow to improve efficiency and reduce lead times, enabling the company to respond quickly to market demands.

Provide training and development opportunities to team members to enhance their CAD CAM skills and knowledge.

About you

Bachelor's degree / Dimple in Textile, Fashion Technology, or a related field.

Proven experience in working with CAD CAM technologies in the apparel industry is essential.

Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in sample development, CAD design, or a related role within theapparel industry.

Previous experience in a leadership or managerial position is preferred.

In-depth knowledge of pattern making, garment construction, and production processes.

Familiarity with industry-specific CAD software and tools.

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Experience working in a multinational apparel company will be advantageous.
