JOB PURPOSE

MSC Cruises is the world's third-largest cruise brand and a leader in Europe, South America, the Gulf region, and Southern Africa, with significant market share and deployed capacity. Headquartered in Geneva, MSC Cruises operates a modern fleet of 22 ships, with three new vessels launching in 2025, 2026, and 2027.

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Adobe AEM Solution Architect to join our Digital Technology team within a Digital Transformation context. The role involves designing and implementing scalable, secure, and optimized Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) solutions for complex, enterprise-level projects, providing technical leadership from requirements gathering to deployment.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Solution Design and Architecture: Lead the design and development of comprehensive AEM solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements.
2. Enterprise-level Architecture: Design and architect large-scale AEM implementations, ensuring scalability, performance, and integration with other enterprise systems.
3. Technical Consultancy: Provide expert guidance on effective AEM use, translating business needs into technical solutions.
4. Team Leadership and Mentoring: Lead and mentor system integrator teams, conduct code reviews, and uphold best practices.
5. Performance Optimization: Continuously optimize AEM solutions for performance, security, and high traffic handling.
6. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with project managers, designers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
7. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on emerging Adobe technologies and seek innovation opportunities.
8. Governance and Compliance: Ensure AEM implementations adhere to security standards and regulations such as GDPR.
9. Training and Mentorship: Provide ongoing training and support to internal teams for optimal AEM use.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 10+ years of experience in AEM solution architecture, including hands-on work with AEM Sites and Assets.
• Proven ability to architect and implement complex enterprise AEM solutions, including single and multi-domain architectures.
• Strong background in modular design, reusable components, and maintainable codebases.
• Experience integrating AEM with enterprise systems like CRM (e.g., Salesforce), marketing tools, and Adobe RT-CDP.
• Expertise in performance optimization, caching, load balancing, and high-traffic environments.
• Knowledge of security and compliance standards, including GDPR.
• Experience with cloud services, especially Adobe Cloud, Azure, and AWS, focusing on cost and performance optimization.
• Leadership skills in mentoring teams and promoting best practices.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with technical and business stakeholders.
• Analytical and proactive problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Relevant Adobe certifications (e.g., Adobe Certified Expert - AEM Sites Architect) preferred.
• Ability to work in an Agile environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Economics, Statistics, or related fields.
• Fluent in English; additional EU languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel.
