Digital Manufacturing Lead

Role: Opportunity for experienced professionals in MES Consulting, Digital Manufacturing, Business Transformation or Site Deployment

Location: Italy-based role with flexibility to travel across EU sites

Language required: Italian and English fluency required

We are looking for an experienced MES Change Manager to support the implementation and adoption of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) across multiple EU manufacturing sites. This role will focus on preparing site teams for change, driving effective communication and training, enabling user adoption of new MES processes, and ensuring a smooth transition during rollout phases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support change management activities for MES implementation across EU manufacturing sites.
• Collaborate closely with site leadership, business users, IT teams, and project stakeholders to drive successful MES adoption.
• Assess and evaluate the impact of MES changes on site processes, roles, user responsibilities, and overall ways of working.
• Develop and support execution of stakeholder communication and engagement plans throughout the MES rollout lifecycle.
• Coordinate training readiness activities, including user engagement, training delivery, and adoption tracking.
• Support the creation, review, and alignment of key documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, training materials, user guides, and process documentation.
• Assist sites in preparing for critical project phases such as testing (UAT), training, go-live, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Monitor and track user readiness, training completion, adoption metrics, and change-related risks and issues.
• Support site teams in understanding and transitioning to new MES processes and digital ways of working.
• Act as a key liaison between global MES teams, implementation partners, and local site stakeholders to ensure alignment and consistency.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in change management within IT, digital transformation, manufacturing, or MES implementation projects.
• Solid understanding of MES and manufacturing business processes.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and user engagement capabilities.
• Experience supporting or developing SOPs, training documentation, work instructions, and business process materials.
• Ability to work effectively across multiple EU sites and manage diverse stakeholder groups in a matrix environment.
• Fluent in English and Italian (mandatory).
• Spanish language skills are a plus.

• Role supports multiple EU manufacturing sites.
• Flexibility to travel across EU locations as required by project phases.
