Location: North Rome | Full-time, Permanent Contract
About Biomedical Technologies
For over 40 years, Biomedical Technologies has been a trusted partner in the organization of medical events, with a particular focus on Women’s Health and Reproductive Medicine.
Since 1981, we have supported clients in delivering successful international congresses and digital events, providing tailored consultancy and assistance from an event’s conception through to its realization.
The Role
We are looking for a Digital Event Manager to join our team in Rome.
Reporting to the Marketing Director, you will manage the full life cycle of online events — from planning and coordination to live execution and post-event reporting.
What You Will Do
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate online events (webinars, courses, masterclasses, etc.) on Zoom, ensuring smooth setup and flawless execution
• Manage all technical aspects, conduct rehearsals, and provide live technical support during events
• Communicate with stakeholders, speakers, and moderators; manage invitations, calendar links, and session content
• Oversee event promotion through newsletters, social media, and website updates
• Create engaging graphics using Canva and Adobe Express (basic video editing with Adobe Premiere Pro appreciated but not mandatory)
• Research and test new digital tools to enhance event performance and engagement
• Develop and deliver comprehensive post-event reports, including metrics and recording links
• Use Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and presentations
Essential Requirements
• Excellent command of English (written and spoken)
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience with virtual event platforms (Zoom, Teams), marketing automation, and web analytics
• Familiarity with tools such as Mailchimp or MailUp and with digital marketing best practices
• Understanding of professional social media communication
• Curiosity and willingness to learn new applications
Preferred Skills & Attitude
• Proactive and resourceful problem-solver
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Experience with graphic design (Canva, Adobe Express, Adobe Creative Suite)
• Interest or basic knowledge of video editing (Adobe Premiere Pro)
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work well under deadlines
• Passion for innovation and digital tools
