A protagonist in major global strategic programs, it is a technological and industrial partner of Governments, Defense Administrations, Institutions, and businesses.Within the HW & FW AIRBORNE SENSOR & EO organizational unit of the Electronics Division, we are looking for a Hardware Designer for our Campi Bisenzio office.The person will mainly deal with the following activities:* Development of digital hardware in the context of projects for electro-optical sensor systems, radar sensors, and avionics equipment.**Educational Qualifications:*** Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electronic Engineering or Physics**Seniority:*** **Junior**: 1-3 years of experience;
**Technical knowledge and skills:*** Competence in the design of digital electronic boards with microcontrollers, FPGAs, DSPs, and SoCs;
* Knowledge of main digital electronic components (memories, A/D and D/A converters, communication interfaces, clocking);
* Knowledge of main communication protocols: SPI, I²C, UART, CAN, USB, Ethernet, PCIe, LVDS, MIPI.* Drawing of electrical schematics with ECAD software;
* Definition of electrical and thermal constraints for the design of high-performance PCBs.* Knowledge of standard HW development cycles;
The following skills arealso required:* Requirements analysis;
* Preparation of HW specifications;
* Verification and Validation of the developed board;
* Creation of all documentation associated with the hardware development cycle;
* Preparation of design documentation;
* Preparation of associated documentation according to company regulations or international guidelines.**Behavioral skills**:* Proactivity;
* Ability to work in ateam;
* Problem-solving attitude;
* Flexibility in dealing with topics outside one's area of expertise.**Language skills:*** Good knowledge of the English language (B2).**Computer skills:*** Document management tools using the MS Office suite;
* Software for requirements management, such as ReqTracer and Doors;
* Hardware developmenttoolchains (Siemens DxDesigner, Cadence);
* Circuit simulation software (PSPice, LTSpice, etc.);
* Modeling tools (Model Driven Engineering): Mathlab and Simulink;
