Accountabilities

  • Oversight of all aspects of the assigned product (hardware, packaging, builds, validation, ED&D, DVPR, Design Change Requests, etc.).
  • Coordination of technical departments involved in project target achievement.
  • Technical interface to Vehicle & PT Integration, AME, Purchasing, EE Core, ePT, Controls, Calibration, Quality, Suppliers and EE Systems.
  • Ensure procedures and methodologies application according to required standards and lead project documentation creation, monitoring and updating.
  • Ensure best practices and lessons learned are used and properly shared across the engine family.
  • Leads engineering teams to deliver prototype & production batches that meet vehicle/program requirements.
  • Review, approve and track the System DVP&R and support the development of the component DVP&Rs.
  • Co‑leads proactive risk management tasks with the QRE Team (e.g. DFMEAs, DFSS, LUR, reliability demonstration) and track/lead resolution of all GIMs.
  • Leads the technical reviews/evaluations and technical specification sign‑offs (Design Reviews).
  • Leads the technical responses to investigate/action bulletins that relate to the technology.
  • Support releases of Product Book updates and International Product Specification documents.
  • Coordinate release of required technical information to support approval of required compliance procedure and compliance reports.
  • Coordinate Technical Cost Reductions (TCRs).
