What you'll do

• Collaborate in designing and developing products and systems, balancing security with customer experience and developer efficiency.
• Implement proactive security measures through automated vulnerability detection early in development.
• Lead threat hunting and conduct in-depth security investigations using advanced analytics.
• Review code security with static analysis tools, focusing on high-confidence findings to address vulnerabilities early.
• Build and maintain automated security testing frameworks.
• Develop real-time threat detection mechanisms using AWS security services.
• Create automated incident response playbooks and security workflows.
• Research and implement cutting-edge security tools and techniques.
• Mentor development teams on secure coding and threat modeling.

Knowledge, skills, and experience

• Strong experience with Python and TypeScript ecosystems, familiarity with GitHub's security features.
• Proven track record in implementing proactive security measures and vulnerability pipelines.
• Deep understanding of AWS security services for real-time threat detection.
• Hands-on experience with modern security tools and automated testing frameworks.
• Strong background in CI/CD security and automated testing.
• Knowledge of security compliance frameworks.
• Ability to build and maintain security automation.
• Experience leading security investigations and incident responses.
• Mentoring teams on security best practices.
• Effective communicator across teams.

Ideal candidates have experience in financial services, fintech, or B2B organizations, demonstrating the ability to do most or all of the above. Prioritization skills, helpfulness, a growth mindset, and commitment to diversity and inclusion are essential.
