DevSecOps Engineer

to design, implement & maintain secure, automated & scalable cloud environments, to support mission -critical applications in a fast -paced , international setting. Field : digital payments & financial technology

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure Management

• Provision, configure & maintain complex cloud environments on AWS & Oracle Cloud
• Automate resource provisioning using IaC tools (Terraform or CloudFormation ), ensuring consistency, traceability & version control
• Apply knowledge of cloud networking concepts (VPC , subnets , routing , peering ), auto-scaling, load balancing & identity/access management (IAM , policies , roles )

Automation & CI/CD

• Design, implement & maintain CI /CD pipelines to automate build , test , deployment & release processes (AWS CodePipeline , CodeBuild , CodeDeploy &/OR BitBucket
• Understand continuous integration strategies, including branching models, artifact management, rollback procedures & staging/production environments
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker ) & orchestration platforms (ECS , EKS or K8S ) is considered a plus

Monitoring & Observability

• Implement monitoring , logging & alerting solutions to ensure system reliability & proactive incident response (CloudWatch , Grafana , Prometheus or similar)
• Design & configure Grafana dashboards , defining key metrics & automated alerts

Security & Automation

• Apply cloud security best practices , including identity & access management, data encryption (KMS ) & secrets management (AWS Secrets Manager or HashiCorp Vault )
• Develop automation scripts using Python , Bash , or PowerShell to streamline operational tasks

Nice -to -have

• Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible , Chef , Puppet )
• Familiarity with infrastructure testing frameworks (Terratest , AWS Config Rules )
• Knowledge of Atlassian tools (Jira , Confluence ) for ITSM & documentation
