DEVOPS ENGINEER

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with solid experience in Azure and CI/CD practices, preferably with a developer background. The ideal candidate will actively collaborate with our infrastructure and networking teams to optimize, maintain, and scale our cloud resources on Azure. This role involves responsibility for CI/CD pipelines, leading observability initiatives, and playing a key role in promoting the DevOps culture within the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with infrastructure and networking teams to optimize and maintain Azure resources.
• Take full ownership of CI/CD pipelines, with a focus on the build phase and process standardization.
• Lead observability initiatives, completing the transition from Application Insights to Datadog, and managing build/run/check cycles.
• Oversee Akamai and CDN configuration and management.
• Promote and evangelize DevOps practices, enabling the broader development team to understand and adopt DevOps workflows and tools.
• Produce and maintain clear technical documentation and diagrams.
• Engage in Agile development processes, contributing to continuous improvement and team collaboration.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of Cloud Environments for Web Applications, preferably Azure
• CI/CD: proven experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) pipelines (Pipeline, Release and test cases) using YAML and PowerShell scripting.
• SW Monitoring and Observability: solid understanding of observability and application monitoring concepts (Datadog or other)
• Documentation and Communication: ability to produce clear technical documentation and architecture diagrams.
• Fluent in English

Willing to learn

• CDN Management: experience managing CDNs, preferably with Akamai, in collaboration with infra&network team.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): knowledge of IaC concepts and tools.
• Agile Methodologies: understanding of Agile principles and ability to work in Agile teams.
