Devops Engineer - FULL REMOTE (ITALY)

Responsibilities

We are looking for a motivated and skilled DevOps Engineer. The role involves:

• Managing and deploying infrastructure on‑premises and in cloud environments.
• Implementing and maintaining containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Automating infrastructure provisioning with Terraform and configuration management with Ansible.
• Setting up, configuring, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Managing source code and versioning with GitHub.
• Developing scripts (Python, Bash, etc.).
• Performing SQL CRUD operations and maintaining database systems.
• Administering Linux systems and troubleshooting system/process/network issues.
• Configuring and managing web servers like Apache and NGINX, including SSL setup.
• Managing build and dependency tools such as Maven.
• Monitoring system performance, processes, and security.
• Collaborating with teams to improve deployment processes and system reliability.

Requirements

• English proficiency B1 or higher.
• Solid experience with Linux administration and networking.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub (GitHub Actions), and Ansible.
• Experience with at least one programming language.
• SQL knowledge (CRUD operations).
• Understanding of web servers (Apache/Nginx) and SSL certificates.
• Familiarity with Maven and Linux processes.

• Hands‑on experience in cloud and on‑premises environments.
• Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
