DevOps Engineer - AWS, Terraform, CloudFormation, Python, Bash, Jenkins - Hybrid, Bologna

A large global organisation are looking to hire a DevOps Engineer to assist on a large scale project.

This will be a 12 months initial contract with the possibility for multiple extensions.

The role will be based in Bologna, Italy on a Hybrid basis – 2 days required on site.

The first 2/3 weeks you would be required to be on site full time.

Fluent in English & Italian is mandatory

Key Responsibilities/Skills

• Experience as a DevOps Engineer or a similar role.
• Knowledge of AWS Services.
• Extensive experience with IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash: ability to automate repetitive tasks and processes to improve efficiency.
• Experience with tools like Ansible for configuration management.
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment tools like Jenkins.
• Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git.
• Experience with networking.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana and Dynatrace.
• Install or upgrade vendor systems on-premises/in cloud.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and groovy.
