Device Engineer -Internship

Your Role

• Drive actions to improve the quality and reliability of technologies in the 300 mm fab located in Agrate, aligned with customer requirements, programs, and the business roadmap.
• Provide feedback and set directions to increase manufacturing efficiency.
• Support projects related to yield enhancement and cost‑reduction programs to keep the company competitive in the semiconductor market.
• Share group know‑how and best practices across organizations and sites, leveraging Lean principles based on simplification and standardization.
• Manage existing production volumes during ramp‑up or steady‑state phases.
• Increase product yield through process trials.
• Improve fab capability via tool qualification.
• Guarantee cycle‑time targets.
• Plan and follow up on tasks, clearly identifying ownership, priorities, and timelines according to production and development needs.
• Activate analytical investigations of root causes and yield detractors for all products on the production technology platforms.

Requested Degree

• Physics
• Chemistry
• Materials Science
• Engineering degrees in materials and nanotechnologies, chemical, physics, or energy.

Your Skills & Experiences

• Good approach to programming (scripting and/or other programming languages).
• Strong data‑analysis skills.
• Positive teamwork attitude.
• Fluency in English.
