Design Engineer – High Voltage (m/f/d)

Location: Trescore Cremasco (CR), Italy
We are looking for an experienced Design Engineer – High Voltage to strengthen our engineering team at our Trescore Cremasco (CR) site . If you enjoy working on technically demanding products and want to contribute to innovative high-voltage solutions, we would love to hear from you.
In this role, you will play a key part in transforming concepts into manufacturable designs while working closely with production and cross-functional teams.
Your Responsibilities
⚡ Analyse incoming orders and prepare drawings and documentation for production
⚡ Prepare drawings and documentation for customer approval
⚡ Support the transition from design to production and ensure manufacturability of designs
⚡ Design manufacturing aids and production tooling in close collaboration with the production team
⚡ Prepare and maintain technical drawings and documentation according to internal standards
⚡ Collaborate with engineering, production, quality and project teams to continuously improve products and processes
⚡ Develop 2D and 3D CAD designs for high-voltage components and assemblies
⚡ Create concept and quotation sketches to support the sales and proposal process
Your Profile
✔ Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable technical discipline
✔ Several years of experience in design engineering , ideally in high-voltage technology or electrical equipment
✔ Strong experience with 2D and 3D CAD tools (e.g., Creo, SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD or similar)
✔ Good understanding of manufacturing processes and production requirements
✔ Good understanding of aluminium castings and machining processes
✔ Structured, solution-oriented working style and strong teamwork skills
✔ Possibly mother-tongue/Fluent in Italian
✔ Good English communication skills
✔ Available to relocation in zone
✔ Available to short business travel
