As Design Engineer you will be responsible for designing new products (often composed of sheet metal complex structures), developing technical documentation, supporting manufacturing and following validation processes. You will work close to other departments (often in cross-functional teams), providing support from Engineering design perspective to ensure designs meet quality, performance, cost, and schedule targets.
Your Impact

• Responsible for creating new product designs for fabricated structures, assisting in the development of load cases, and performing finite element analysis.
• Collaborate in the creation of lab and field validation plans, generate drawings, and prepare other technical documentation.
• Support industrialization processes by tracking design changes and take on project management responsibilities.
• Conduct design reviews with cross-functional teams, perform technical evaluations of competitive products, and oversee product validation/testing for current and prototype designs.
• Evaluate, define, and resolve design and manufacturing issues, while also developing, communicating, and managing supplier requirements.
  

Your Experience And Qualifications

• Must be proficient with solid modelling software, preferably ProE, and have 1–3 years of experience in engineering assignments.
• Should have hands-on experience with sheet metal, fabricated steel structures, and the design and development of welded structures, mobile hydraulics, and mechanical linkages.
• A basic understanding of finite element analysis is preferred, along with strong problem-solving skills.
• Must be experienced in drawing layouts and applying GD&T methodology, with familiarity in PLM systems, preferably Windchill.
• Should be capable of working effectively in an international team environment and demonstrate a positive work attitude.
