The Softgoods Demand & Supply Planner (M/F) plays a key role in driving the end‑to‑end planning process for Rossignol’s Accessories, Footwear & Bags products.
Reporting to both the Demand Planning & Process Manager and the Supply Planning Manager, you will ensure that supply aligns with market needs, service‑level commitments and inventory objectives across our global operations.
You will manage the full procurement cycle, from forecast analysis to suppliers’ delivery, ensuring that products are properly delivered to Rossignol’s global distribution chain.
This role offers a unique opportunity to gain a comprehensive view of the entire operations workflow, collaborating closely with Sourcing, Product development, Sales, Customer service and Logistics, together with top‑management interactions.
Your missions will include :
Demand Planning main activities:
- Analyze seasonal forecasts & translate them into effective purchasing strategy aligned with commercial and financial objectives, leveraging historical performances, market trends, sales plans and product lifecycle insights.
- Deliver seasonal performance analysis , including range efficiency reviews.
- Build a close partnership with Sales Operations & Sales leaders , ensuring seamless communication and alignment between demand planning, supply planning and commercial expectations.
- Maintain the seasonal calendar , ensuring timely updates and alignment across planning milestones.
Supply Planning main activities:
- Execute supply plan (purchase orders definition) by evaluating demand forecasts alongside critical supply planning factors - such as inventory levels, supplier capacity, MOQ requirements, and historical trends - to determine optimal purchase quantities by stock keeping unit.
- Ensure on‑time and in‑full deliveries by monitoring and working closely with suppliers throughout all production and shipment phases.
- Continuously monitor demand trends and supply timing to identify potential issues related to changes in demand or supply timeline and adjust purchasing schedules as needed to enhance customer service.
- Build and maintain strong cross‑functional and external partnerships collaborating closely with internal teams (Sales & Sales Ops, Merchandising, Sourcing & Development, Logistics) and suppliers, to act as a central point of coordination among them.
- Provide analytical support and ad hoc reporting conducting targeted analyses and preparing reports to support decision‑making process.
About you :
You have an academic background in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a comparable data‑driven field.
You have 1‑3 years of relevant planning experience , ideally in product‑driven companies of medium‑large size. A previous experience in a footwear industry is a plus.
Key competencies:
- Strong command of Excel or analytical tools to perform ABC analysis, bias measurement, seasonal benchmarking and efficiency assessments.
- Written & verbal fluency in English is mandatory , as the role operates within a highly multicultural and multilingual organization. Proficiency in French is a valuable plus.
- Proficiency with planning systems : familiarity with forecasting tools, ERP systems (BI Systems or Infor M3 knowledges is a plus) and planning management tools (Smartsheet knowledge is a plus).
- Demand & Supply Planning : capability to define purchasing needs based on commercial inputs, manage lead times and assess risks of shortages or excess inventory.
- Procurement coordination : experience managing purchase cycles, order confirmations, supplier follow‑up and delivery tracking.
- Cross‑functional collaboration : effective and proactive partnership with other departments.
- Ownership and accountability : ability to manage end‑to‑end processes with autonomy.
- Cross‑functional competencies : excellent analytical and summarizing skills. Aptitude for cross‑functional teamwork. Results‑oriented and proactive in improving processes. Ability to communicate and present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
