REPORTING LINE: Demand & Supply Manager

MISSION Operating as a critical individual contributor within the Group Supply Chain department, you will act as the strategic and operational "pivot" for the organisation. Your core mission is to orchestrate global S&OP processes and oversee intercompany data flows. You will be responsible for strengthening the operational link between international subsidiaries, ensuring seamless alignment across Sales, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing division s.
RESPONSIBILITIES
S&OP & Forecasting Cycles:
Lead and optimise the operational execution of the global S&OP framework alongside quarterly forecasting cycles; manage end-to-end data gathering and prepare executive meeting agendas.
Demand Alignment & Portfolio Comple xity: Reconcile commercial sales forecasts with international manufacturing capacities, successfully managing balancing acts across a complex portfolio of over 45,000 products.
Consensus Forecasting & Stakeholder Management:
Partner closely with Regional Managers and Sales Directors to validate market inputs, utilising strong personal authority to constructively challenge raw commercial data and secure a unified consensus forecast.
Intercompany Supply & Sourcing Synchronisation:
Supervise internal group transactions (subsidiaries acting as mutual suppliers/customers) and look for triangular shipping opportunities to streamline distribution; troubleshoot and resolve electronic data transmission blocks alongside the IT department.
Procurement & Order Management:
Manage the launch of purchase requisitions for trade and intercompany finished goods, tracking the entire fulfilment cycle to ensure strict adherence to agreed-upon delivery dates.
Inventory Optimisation & Global Stock Policies:
Perform regular audits of stock levels across all group warehouses, defining and updating semi-annual safety stock parameters for finished goods while reallocating slow-moving items to higher-consumption hubs.
Digital Transformation & Continuous Improvement:
Drive the evolution of forecasting tools in collaboration with IT, proposing advanced system solutions involving complex ERPs, Power BI reporting, APS software, and predictive AI tools.
REQUIREMENTS
Education:
Master’s Degree in Management Engineering (Ingegneria Gestionale) or an equivalent technical/industrial background with a deep understanding of production planning algorithms.
Professional Experience:
5 years of solid experience in S&OP coordination, Demand/Supply Planning, or Supply Chain Analytics within structured manufacturing environments. This is a highly autonomous, expert role (Individual Contributor with no direct team management).
Technical Stack:
Highly proficient with advanced ERP software (e.g., SAP, MS Dynamics 365, SAGE), data visualisation platforms (Power BI), and Advanced Planning & Scheduling tools (e.g., Cyberplan or similar APS software).
Languages:
Native/C2 Italian and fluent English (minimum B2/C1 level), essential for daily business communication with international plants and subsidiaries.
Soft Skills : Strong analytical mindset combined with high social intelligence. We are looking for a proactive, decisive professional who can stand their ground with Plant Managers and Sales executives without being intimidated, while maintaining a practical, "hands-on" approach to daily operational issues.
Mobility:
Willingness to travel and make short trips abroad, especially during the onboarding phase, to map out the logistics and manufacturing dynamics of the international subsidiaries.
