Demand Planning Specialist (w/m/d)

This role is more than planning — it’s about impact. We are looking for a passionate Demand Planning Specialist to coordinate between Sales and Supply Chain, driving excellence and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Support all parties involved in the monthly and annual demand planning processes (sales, marketing, finance)
• Single point of contact between Supply Chain and Business Directors/Sales Planners on sales planning issue
• Analyze sales plans and KPIs, verify and validate with the Sales Planner the assumptions behind the provided data and its reliability
• Consolidation of the global sales forecast
• Prepare and present demand plan, outlook and KPIs in the monthly S&OP cycle to the Management Board and provide insights on data
• Manage short-term demand deviations and unplanned demand requests with Supply Chain and Sales teams
• Provide periodic and ad hoc reports/dashboards to local and global department
• Drive improvement of Demand Planning and Demand Control process, as well as planning capabilities of Business Directors and Sales Planner
• Key User of the SAP IBP planning software for Sales Forecasting and Demand Planning, incl. system parameterization and master data management
• Daily collaboration with internal departments, like Sales, Supply Chain, Marketing, Controlling and Finance

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Statistics, or Supply Chain Management
• Several years of experience with demand planning tools and forecasting techniques
• Extensive understanding of business processes
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, BI knowledge, and SAP IBP experience
• High ability to analyze and comprehend data
• Solution-oriented, process-driven mindset and strong communication skills
• Fluent in English (Italian or German is a plus)
