Demand Planner

Demand Planner – Fixed Term Contract – Legnano

For our Customer Service & Demand Management Team we are seeking a Demand Planner based in Legnano, who will have the opportunity to work on Global Brands such as Tempo®, Nuvenia®, TENA® and Demak'Up®.

About The Role

The Demand Planner is responsible for owning, facilitating, and the administration of local company sales forecasting and Demand Management for their respective area of responsibility.

What You Will Do

• Analyzing historical demand and filter out outliers, identifying the most appropriate statistical forecasting algorithm
• Developing the base Demand Plan using the most appropriate statistical forecasting algorithm and adjust where necessary
• Generating the new product forecast using the historical substitution and like modelling/scenario planning techniques agreed with Marketing and Category Management
• Understanding the impact of the customer buying pattern
• Communicating effectively and engaging the Sales Force on operational issues

Who You Are

• Bachelor Degree in Economics or similar field of study
• Proven experience in Demand Planning or a similar position, ideally in the FMCG Industry
• Fluent in Italian and English
• Good analytical skills with deep knowledge of Excel and SAP R3 - APO
• A real Team Player, with good communication skills at different organization level
• Fast learner with a strong attitude to problem solving
