The problem is that no one oversees them consistently—and in a company that launches four digital products a month, this means delays, silent blockers, and decision‑making that always falls back on the same few people.
We are looking for someone to solve this. In the initial phase, your job won't be building new processes, but making the existing ones actually run.
THE MOMENT: WHY NOW
Koonei is a SaaS Factory . We identify real-world problems, build MVPs in less than 30 days, test them with real data, and then decide: scale, pivot, or kill. The model works—and now it’s accelerating.
This quarter, we have four digital products live simultaneously.
The question driving everything is:
“How do we do the same thing in half the time?”
To answer this operationally, we need a dedicated figure. Someone who steps in, understands where the flows break in practice, and keeps them moving every day—without becoming a bottleneck themselves.
If you join now, you will build something that is immediately visible. You aren't arriving at a consolidated system—you are arriving at the moment the system takes its final shape.
The machine runs from an office in Milan with 10 people, 14 developers in India , and a remote team of 12 others including designers, editors, and strategists. Everyone works on Italian time (CET).
THE CHALLENGE: IN PRACTICE
- Proactive Problem Solving: Every morning, you know exactly what is blocked before anyone tells you. Workflows and dashboards are updated, and dependencies are resolved before they cause launch delays.
- Executive Reporting: Every Monday, a 10-line report goes to the CEO: what progressed, what is blocked, what you decided, and what you are monitoring. You do this every week without being asked.
- Speed Metrics: In the first 30 days, you will measure the factory's real speed for the first time: from idea validation to product launch. Those numbers become your performance KPI.
- Jira Governance: You manage Jira as a “tool of reality,” not just a task list. The board must reflect exactly where each product stands—not the “official” version.
- Dependency Coordination: You coordinate dependencies between teams without filtering everything. Teams speak to each other—you step in when there is a real block, not for every minor update.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
You have 5-10 years in delivery, operations, or program management within startups, scale‑ups, or digital agencies. You know the difference between working in a fast company and one that only moves fast on paper.
You know how to build governance, enforce workflows, and keep a board clean in an environment that changes every week. You have likely been in this situation before: existing systems that no one actually followed, and you found a way to make them respected without becoming the “office cop.”
Operational English is mandatory , the dev team is in India and daily communication is required. Experience in performance marketing is not mandatory, but if you have it, you’ll have a three-month head start.
THIS IS NOT for you if:
- Your first instinct is to build a new system or introduce a new methodology. The systems exist; the first phase is about making them work.
- You need to understand everything before making a decision. We decide with the data available and course‑correct on the fly.
- You have only worked in corporate contexts where priorities come from the top and processes don’t change for months.
WHY KOONEI
We already know how to build and distribute products. We have the model, the systems, and the data. What we lack is someone to run it all every day with the same precision with which it was designed.
You will work directly with the founders, with visibility into every product and decision. There is no bureaucracy to navigate, only a problem to solve and the resources to do it.
In the first 90 days, you will be supported by the Head of Operations on our existing tracking system, weekly files with new paying users, products launched, and KPIs per business line. You learn our way of reading numbers, then manage it independently.
WHAT YOU GET
- Salary (RAL): €48,000 – €52,000 based on seniority.
- Bonus: Semi-annual bonus up to 25% of base salary—two progressive tranches linked to operational and pipeline KPIs. Top performers get both.
- Autonomy: Real decision‑making power over operational priorities without asking for approval on every task.
