The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team seeks a skilled Delivery Consultant to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet clients’ technical requirements and business objectives. The role involves close collaboration with customers, stakeholders, and the AWS Partner Network to drive success, provide technical expertise, and lead implementation from design to delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing complex, scalable, secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies to AWS.
- Acting as a trusted advisor on industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Sharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts.
Basic qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in cloud architecture and implementation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of design, implementation, consulting experience with distributed applications.
- 3+ years of experience with software development tools and methodologies.
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph.
- US Citizen (required).
Preferred qualifications:
- AWS experience and proficiency in services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation.
- AWS Professional level certifications (Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional).
- Experience with automation and scripting (Terraform, Python).
- Knowledge of security and compliance standards (HIPAA, GDPR).
- Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- 5+ years in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, networking, and technology/software sales consulting.
- Professional experience deploying and operating AWS solutions, including migration to cloud and high-availability data center operations with federal government security requirements.
Compensation ranges:
- Colorado: $131,300 - $177,600 annually / hourly.
- National: $118,200 - $204,300 annually / hourly.
