Delivery & Commissioning Engineer

Position Overview

This role is responsible for the whole-process delivery and commissioning of energy storage power stations in the European key markets of the UK and Italy, focusing on on-site implementation, AC side grid connection, equipment debugging and project handover. You will undertake the practical delivery work of energy storage projects, ensure projects are completed on schedule, comply with European grid connection regulations and safety standards, and guarantee the stable operation and smooth handover of energy storage stations. The position emphasizes hands-on debugging ability, whole-station delivery experience and familiarity with local AC grid connection norms, and Chinese candidates are prioritized to meet cross-regional collaboration and project delivery needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Delivery & On-site Management : Take charge of the whole-process delivery implementation of European energy storage power stations (including equipment arrival inspection, installation guidance, system coordination and construction follow-up), promote the progress of on-site delivery work, and ensure projects are delivered on schedule as per requirements.
• AC Side Grid Connection & Compliance : Be proficient in European AC side grid connection regulations, national grid codes and safety operation norms; complete grid connection application, inspection and docking work, ensure project grid connection compliance, and resolve on-site grid connection technical issues.
• Equipment Commissioning & Testing : Conduct on-site commissioning, functional testing and performance verification of energy storage systems (including battery clusters, PCS, BMS, EMS and auxiliary equipment); troubleshoot on-site equipment and system faults, ensure the normal operation of energy storage stations, and optimize system operation parameters.
• Cross-team Collaboration : Cooperate with project management, solution, customer and local construction teams to coordinate on-site resources, communicate delivery progress and problems, and ensure the smooth advancement of all delivery links.
• Document Compilation & Project Handover : Prepare and sort out delivery and commissioning documents, test reports, grid connection certificates and handover materials; complete project handover with customers and later operation and maintenance teams, and archive relevant materials in a standardized manner.
• On-site Safety & Risk Control : Strictly abide by European on-site safety construction norms and company safety management regulations; identify on-site delivery and commissioning risks, take preventive measures, and ensure the safety of personnel and equipment during the operation process.

Job Requirements

• Education & Experience : Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Power System, New Energy Engineering or related majors; minimum 3 years of working experience in energy storage project delivery, commissioning or EPC project implementation, with whole-station delivery experience of energy storage power stations is required.
• Professional Competence : Familiar with European AC side grid connection standards, safety regulations and energy storage system operation principles; proficient in on-site commissioning, fault troubleshooting and testing of energy storage equipment; hands-on operation ability is outstanding, able to independently complete delivery and commissioning work.
• Language Skills : Proficient in Chinese (mother tongue preferred); fluent in English listening, speaking, reading and writing, capable of on-site communication and document sorting; basic European local language skills are a plus.
• Soft Skills : Strong hands-on ability, on-site problem-solving ability and emergency response capability; rigorous and meticulous work, strong sense of responsibility; able to adapt to long-term on-site work in European key markets and bear certain work pressure.
• Others : Experience in European energy storage project delivery or grid connection work is highly preferred; familiar with energy storage related equipment operation and maintenance, and master basic electrical safety operation specifications.
