Career Opportunities: DC Italy Key Account Manager Retail (11495) The Key Account Manager focused on the Retail Non-food industry, performs revenue creating and commercial activities associated with the development of assigned portfolio of key customers related to Datalogic Product Groups (HHS, FRS, MOB) territory and industry. The role has a strong hunting focus, proactively scouting and acquiring new end users and OEMs within the assigned territory and industry. Role Mission The role is strongly focused on new business development and proactive prospecting activities to expand market share and acquire new customers. Key Responsibilities

Manage the assigned product portfolio by actively scouting and penetrating new end users within the Retail Non-Food industry, developing greenfield opportunities and expanding Datalogic footprint in the assigned territory; Drive new business development activities through proactive prospecting (phone calls, emails, LinkedIn and other digital channels), identifying and engaging potential customers within the target market; Define accounts development plan by Product Group, performing cost-benefit analyses of existing and potential customers; Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers, communicating the benefits of Datalogic's products in order to drive sales (often visiting clients and prospects); Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits and achieve assigned targets within schedule; Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships, developing trusted advisor relationships with key customers' stakeholders to ensure present and future sales; Act as the main point of contact in all matters relating to client concerns and needs, assisting with challenging requests and escalating issues as needed; Report market opportunity & customer requirement and submit suggestion for targeted sales initiatives, product development and service improvement to management; Identify, classify and manage Leads/Opportunities/Alliances assigning the right priority to the sales activities; Maintain accurate client records and punctual CRM status updates, keeping track of any contract updates and renewals.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree in business, economics, engineering or equivalent work experience Languages: Italian as primary language; English (business-level proficiency) Experience: 4/5 years of experience in a similar role (in Technical Sales or Sales as KAM).
