The Role We are looking for a versatile and hands-on Room Technician to join our Maintenance team.
Key Responsibilities
Perform general room maintenance and repair duties, including minor plumbing, carpentry, fixtures, and fittings Respond promptly to maintenance requests and breakdowns reported by housekeeping or front office Conduct routine inspections of rooms and facilities to identify and address maintenance issues proactively Ensure all work is carried out safely, neatly, and with minimal disruption to guests Maintain tools and equipment in good working order Keep accurate records of work carried out and materials used Work closely with the wider Maintenance and Engineering team on planned refurbishment and upkeep projects Requirements
Proven experience as a tiler, painter, and/or general maintenance/room technician, ideally within a hotel or hospitality environment Strong practical skills in tiling and painting, with a good understanding of general building maintenance Ability to work independently and manage time effectively across multiple tasks A keen eye for detail and finish quality Good problem-solving skills and a hands-on, can-do attitude Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required by hotel operations Basic English communication skills vetrinabakeca
