Datacom Product Manager

Randstad Italia Spa is seeking a Datacom Product Manager on behalf of one of its most prestigious partners in the Telecommunications industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Pre-sales Strategy & Solution Design: Collaborating closely with Sales and Marketing teams to architect customized technical solutions that meet specific client needs
• Market Growth: Actively driving the adoption of Datacom portfolio within the Italian Enterprise sector
• Product Subject Matter Expertise: Serving as the primary point of contact for technical specifications and maintaining deep knowledge of the latest product releases and solution offerings
• End-to-End Proposal Management: Leading customer insight gathering, network architecture design, and the preparation of comprehensive bids and financial quotations
• Partner Empowerment: Acting as a technical consultant for channel partners, assisting them in designing robust networking infrastructures
• Enablement & Sales Volume: Delivering technical training to enhance partner capabilities and identifying new business opportunities to boost overall sales performance
• Competitive Intelligence: Monitoring and analyzing market competitors to help shape and implement effective defensive and offensive business strategies
• Brand Advocacy: Implementing local marketing initiatives in alignment with global corporate branding and participating in key industry forums and technology events

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven Expertise: Over 3 years of hands-on experience in a Pre-sales role specifically focused on the IP/Datacom domain
• Technical Proficiency: Comprehensive understanding of enterprise networking components, including Routers, Switches, WLAN, and Security protocols
• Advanced Network Planning: Strong background in designing large-scale enterprise IP networks and Data Center architectures
• Industry Certification: Holding professional-level certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent industry-standard credentials
• Project Excellence: A track record of contributing to high-complexity, large-scale technical projects
• Language Skills: Fully proficient in both Italian and English, with the ability to operate effectively in an international business environment
