Join the team as a Database Administrator at Cerved , an Italian tech company that supports sustainable growth, risk management and digital transformation through unique predictive signals and an exclusive data and analytics portfolio.
Location
Sede di lavoro: Milano, Torino, Roma, Mangone (CS).
Responsibilities
- Design, implement and manage relational and non‑relational database architectures.
- Guarantee the availability, integrity and security of corporate data.
- Monitor database performance and optimize queries, indexes and data access processes.
- Plan and execute backup, restore and disaster recovery activities.
- Manage updates, patching, migrations and cost estimation in cloud environments (AWS, OCI and Atlas).
- Apply DevOps concepts (continuous integration and delivery) to the data domain.
- Collaborate with development, IT and Cyber Security teams to release new application solutions.
- Define and enforce data access policies in compliance with sector regulations (GDPR, PSD2).
- Document configurations, operating procedures and technical standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline.
- Proven experience as Database Administrator, preferably in FinTech, Banking or Digital environments.
- knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server).
- Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra).
- Competence in data security, encryption and privilege management.
- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, OCI, Atlas) and managed database services.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving and prioritization skills in complex contexts.
- Team‑player attitude and effective communication with technical and business stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Agile development methodology.
- Good command of English, written and spoken.
