Join the team as a Database Administrator at Cerved , an Italian tech company that supports sustainable growth, risk management and digital transformation through unique predictive signals and an exclusive data and analytics portfolio.

Location

Sede di lavoro: Milano, Torino, Roma, Mangone (CS).

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement and manage relational and non‑relational database architectures.
  • Guarantee the availability, integrity and security of corporate data.
  • Monitor database performance and optimize queries, indexes and data access processes.
  • Plan and execute backup, restore and disaster recovery activities.
  • Manage updates, patching, migrations and cost estimation in cloud environments (AWS, OCI and Atlas).
  • Apply DevOps concepts (continuous integration and delivery) to the data domain.
  • Collaborate with development, IT and Cyber Security teams to release new application solutions.
  • Define and enforce data access policies in compliance with sector regulations (GDPR, PSD2).
  • Document configurations, operating procedures and technical standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline.
  • Proven experience as Database Administrator, preferably in FinTech, Banking or Digital environments.
  • knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server).
  • Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra).
  • Competence in data security, encryption and privilege management.
  • Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, OCI, Atlas) and managed database services.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving and prioritization skills in complex contexts.
  • Team‑player attitude and effective communication with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodology.
  • Good command of English, written and spoken.
