The Opportunity
We are seeking a proactive Data Strategist to join our consulting team. In this role, you will work alongside Senior Strategists and Data Architects to deliver data transformation projects. You will play a key role in analyzing client processes, mapping data flows, and "connecting the dots" between business needs and data solutions. This is the perfect role for someone with a strong analytical mindset who wants to specialize in modern data architectures and governance without necessarily writing production code.
Responsibilities
- Conduct interviews with business users to gather requirements and understand their data pain points;
- Map business processes and data flows to identify gaps and opportunities for data products;
- Support the definition of Data Governance policies (data quality, ownership, security);
- Help clients define "Data Products" by applying Agile Lab’s standard methodologies;
- Prepare clear and compelling documentation, presentations, and reports for client stakeholders;
- Collaborate with technical teams to translate business requirements into functional specifications for the data platform;
- Participate in the configuration and setup of Data Governance platforms (e.g., Witboost, Collibra, etc.) from a functional perspective.
Requirements
- Master\'s degree in Management Engineering, Economics, Statistics, or related fields;
- 2-4 years of experience in Business Analysis, Data Consulting, or Functional Analysis;
- Good understanding of the Data Lifecycle and basic concepts of Data Architecture (Data Lake, DWH, APIs);
- Familiarity with Data Governance topics (Metadata, Data Quality, GDPR);
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency with Excel/Sheets and presentation tools;
- Problem-solving attitude and ability to work in a dynamic environment;
- Excellent communication skills, capable of interacting with both technical and non-technical teams;
- Languages: Fluent in Italian and English.
