Responsibilities

The ideal candidate as Senior Data Scientist at NTT DATA will possess a mix of skills including hands-on Generative AI (preferably on Azure/GCP and on-premise), engineering best practices, statistical expertise, Machine and Deep Learning skills, and strong business acumen.

The Senior Data Scientist will collaborate with other data scientists, data engineers, ML engineers, product managers, business analysts, and stakeholders from internal groups and external clients.

He/She will manage multiple projects, lead data scientists, and liaise with client stakeholders to ensure timely and quality task execution.

Required Skills

  • Experience of at least 3-5 years as a data scientist;
  • Proficiency in Python (mandatory) and SQL;
  • Knowledge of Java/Scala or C++/R is a plus;
  • Experience with TensorFlow and PyTorch, especially in Computer Vision solutions;
  • Knowledge of ML solutions architecture and Generative AI pipelines;
  • Experience with cloud and hybrid ML implementations;
  • Ability to incorporate cutting-edge BI, ML, and alternative data practices to improve efficiency and revenue;
  • Ownership of full-stack execution of data science projects, from data wrangling to deployment;
  • Collaboration with data engineers to produce production-ready pipelines, including data ingestion, cleaning, feature engineering, and model training/prediction;
  • Research and analysis into reinsurance and advisory products to enhance models and develop new offerings;
  • Strong relationship management with internal teams and external clients.

Location options include: Milano, Bari, Bologna, Cosenza, Napoli, Roma, Salerno, Torino.
