The Role

As a Data Scientist , you’ll play a central role in helping the company embed advanced analytics into its core operations. This is a hands-on, business-facing position that offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leaders and stakeholders across retail operations, marketing, supply chain, and customer insights.

You’ll work on a variety of projects such as demand forecasting, promotion optimisation, price elasticity modeling, basket analysis , and geospatial analytics . Acting as an internal consultant, you’ll translate business challenges into data solutions—turning complex analysis into clear, actionable insights that influence strategic decisions across the organisation.

Your Background

• 4–5 years of experience in a data science role within consulting or retail
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
• Solid understanding of statistical and machine learning techniques
• Ability to communicate data insights effectively and translate them into business actions
• Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
• Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving mindset
• Motivated, curious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
