Data Scientist for Pricing and Underwriting

The candidate will be part of the Global Pricing and Underwriting Office, with visibility across all direct companies within the Allianz Group. They will be responsible for analyzing data and processes to support the company’s strategy
Key Responsibilities

• Support data ingestion, cleaning, and transformation processes from multiple sources
• Perform data exploration and advanced analytics to identify patterns, trends, and business insights
• Build and maintain dashboards and reporting solutions to monitor performance and support decision making
• Develop pricing and underwriting models
• Conduct research and development to find novel technical solutions
  

Key Requirements/Skills/Experience

• Experience (minimum 2-4 years) in Insurance/Consulting companies or in roles focused on data analysis
• Master’s degree in Information Technology, Math, Physics, Statistics, or equivalent
• Excellent knowledge of Spark, SQL, and Python
• Experience in developing statistical and machine learning models
• Experience in WTW suites (Radar, Emblem)
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong analysis, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Team spirit, self-motivation, and a proactive result-driven working style as well as ability to interact in a global work environment with people from different countries and cultures
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
