Data Scientist

For a Company operating in the field of Anti Financial Crime transformation projects, we are looking for a Data Scientist (mid-level) to join a dynamic, AI-focused team dedicated to delivering tangible business value through innovative technologies.

In this role, you will contribute to the full lifecycle of AI initiatives: from data exploration and preparation to model development, deployment, and the creation of intelligent agents. You will work in a collaborative and growth-oriented environment, engaging with real-world use cases across sectors such as financial services, insurance, and public administration, with opportunities to expand into additional industries.

Required Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in a STEM discipline (or equivalent practical experience)
• 2+ years of professional experience in developing AI/ML solutions using Python or similar languages
• Solid understanding of Machine Learning concepts and common AI models
• Working knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and familiarity with DevOps practices
• Basic understanding of data architectures, including relational databases, messaging systems, and distributed environments

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in building AI agents using frameworks such as LangChain or similar
• Experience in data visualization and dashboarding tools (e.g., Power BI)

Technical Skills

• Strong programming skills in Python (or equivalent languages)
• Hands-on experience with key libraries and frameworks such as (or equivalents):
• Pandas, NumPy
• Scikit-learn
• TensorFlow / PyTorch / Keras
• Basic proficiency in SQL

Languages:

• Mandatory: English, fluent written and spoken;
• Optional: other European language
