Vodafone Automotive is looking for a Data Science Architect , a key figure in exploring, innovating, and designing architectures that maximize the value of Artificial Intelligence and advanced data solutions across the company’s technology landscape.
This role combines strategic vision with hands-on expertise, ensuring that AI and data innovation initiatives are aligned with business priorities and seamlessly integrated into the enterprise ecosystem.
As part of the Technology Architecture team, the Data Science Architect will work closely with the Innovation & Services Platforms group to shape how AI and data innovation deliver measurable value to the business.

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
- Strong knowledge of machine learning methods
- Programming skills in Java, PL/SQL and R
- Desired experience in distributed big-data environment (Spark, Hadoop, etc …)
- Knowledge of signal processing techniques
- Sensor data filtering and manipulation
- Knowledge of digital integration technologies (API, streaming/queuing systems) and digital channels technologies (portals, mobile app, CRM)
- Basic electronical skills are preferential.
- Measurement capability in electronical laboratory (oscilloscope etc …).
- Knowledge of National Instrument framework.
- Nice to have:
knowledge of monovariate and multivariate statistical methods.
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
- Fluent English.
- Master Degree or higher in Engineering / Computer Science / Mathematics / Statistics of Physiscs.
- Minimum 2 years of experience.
- Would be appreciated previous experience in embedded software.
