About the Role:
As a Data Science Analyst at AssetClassic, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of collector car valuation and decision-making. You'll work closely with our leadership team and collaborate with our multi-disciplinary operating team to further develop AssetClassic Data, an exceptional platform that serves as the backbone of our innovative approach.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in cleaning, analyzing, and visualizing collector car data to uncover insights and trends.
- Support processing large volumes of collectible car transactions in a timely and precise manner.
- Develop new data acquisition methods for enriching the existing database with additional sources.
- Contribute to the enhancement of our valuation models using historical auction prices, market data, and other relevant factors.
- Collaborate with the team to refine and expand our existing dataset, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Participate in data-driven projects, working alongside experts to provide data-backed insights for strategic decisions.
- Help in the creation of data-driven reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge about and passion for classic and collectible cars.
- Relevant academic qualifications (Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, etc.).
- Strong written and spoken English, with Italian as a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for working with data.
- Proficiency in data manipulation, analysis, and visualization tools (Python, SQL, BI Tools, Retool, etc.).
- Curiosity and willingness to learn about the collector car industry, its history, and market dynamics.
- Solid communication skills and the ability to present complex ideas clearly and concisely.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
