Data Science & AI Specialist
Reports To Global Quality Manager
Your Role and Responsibilities We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team. Working closely with our experienced data scientists and engineers, you will contribute to the development of AI-based innovative solutions for industrial applications focusing on aesthetic anomaly detection, predictive maintenance, and Agentic AI systems. Work model: onsite.
Develop AI solutions for aesthetic anomaly detection for industrial quality assurance, predictive maintenance and advanced AI agents working with internal company data.
Conduct research and analysis about the latest AI advancements with the aim of adopting them in the industrial manufacturing field.
Evaluate and interpret model results and provide actionable insights and recommendations.
Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate models and algorithms into our existing systems.
Develop applications for data collection and manage industrial IoT solutions.
Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders in clear and concise ways.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science or related fields.
Knowledge of machine learning, deep learning and artificial intelligence principles and algorithms.
Knowledge of Python, SQL and other data science tools and libraries.
Familiarity with computer vision technologies.
Familiarity with AzureML, Agentic AI Frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex or protocols such as MCP.
Familiarity with Edge AI hardware solutions like Nvidia Jetson or Raspberry Pi.
Familiarity with CI/CD and MLOps solutions.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with ability to work in a team.
Ease communicating in English and Italian.
Compensation Package
Applicable CBA: Metalmeccanico.
Minimum annual salary: €36,000.
Variable pay: Eligible for Company Productivity Bonus.
Offer will be tailored based on role location, experience, skills, qualifications, and internal market positioning.
