Data Privacy Counsel – VIE at Euronext
We are seeking a dynamic International Graduate (V.I.E) to join our Compliance & Risk department as a Data Privacy Counsel. The role starts January 2026 for an initial 12‑month period based in Milan. You will report to the Data Protection Officer.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Data Protection Officer and the team to ensure privacy compliance of the Euronext Group, in line with GDPR and other applicable privacy laws.
- Integrate newly acquired companies into the Euronext GDPR framework and support the execution of GDPR monitoring programmes.
- Update the record of processing activities.
- Assist and monitor the completion of privacy impact assessments.
- Validate contractual clauses relating to the protection of personal data.
- Lead and support awareness actions on privacy topics.
- Assist the business with all privacy‑related matters.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in a law firm or company specialising in data protection.
- Four‑to‑five‑year degree with a specialisation in personal data protection.
- Interest in financial markets.
- Knowledge of other privacy regulations and cybersecurity is appreciated.
- Rigorous, organised, with excellent interpersonal and writing skills.
- Proficiency in IT tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneTrust).
- Transparency, pragmatism, and team spirit.
