Data Handling Subsystem Engineer – Thales
We are looking for a Data Handling Subsystem Engineer.
Candidate Profile
- Graduated with a Master of Engineering, Computer Science or a relevant field.
- Significant experience in hardware development with specialization in Acoustics, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering & Servo‑mechanism, Hydrodynamics, Inertia, Quantum technologies, Semiconductor technology, X‑Rays, Materials or other specific technology.
- Team‑player, thrives in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Clear understanding of organizational goals and customer‑oriented mindset.
- Rigorously analytical, logically examines steps and improves results.
Competencies
- Strong technical background in mathematics, science, and computer science with deep knowledge of specific specialty laws, norms, and standards.
- Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making skills with curiosity and determination.
- Ability to multitask, handling several projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Perform a subset of all hardware engineering activities applicable to the specific engineering specialty.
- Analyse and define specific needs using advanced studies, simulations, mock‑ups, models, prototypes, etc.
- Describe the specific functions and requirements.
- Formalise specifications and architectural design to develop the hardware solution or product.
- Identify critical development problems and assist in their resolution.
- Write timely and technically accurate reports of technical findings.
