An important company operating in the consumer goods sector (Personal Care, Home Care, Car Care) is looking for a:

Data Engineer/BI Developer

The candidate will join the IT Department and will be responsible for developing and maintaining Business Intelligence solutions to support operational functions. The role will involve analysing business processes, modelling data and creating reporting and analytics tools, ensuring data quality and reliability.

Main activities

• analysing business processes (operations, supply chain, sales, administration) and translating them into structured data models;
• integrating and transforming data from different sources (ERP, databases, APIs, files);
• develop and maintain dashboards and reports with Board;
• design ETL pipelines for data integration;
• collaborate with internal users to translate business needs into concrete solutions.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have experience in developing Business Intelligence solutions in structured contexts, with a strong focus on data management and understanding of business processes.

Excellent knowledge of SQL and relational databases, familiarity with BI tools (Board, Power BI, Tableau or Qlik) and with ERP tools, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, are required.

The profile is completed by analytical skills, a results-oriented approach and good interpersonal skills.

The following are a plus

• knowledge of .NET, Power Apps, JavaScript, CSS;
• experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS);
• familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Dataverse, OneLake and Power Query.
