AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. As a Data Center Manager you will lead teams of engineers, operators and vendors to manage and expand data centers, ensuring safety, security, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop high‑performing teams of engineers, providing both technical and leadership expertise.
  • Maintain existing data centers and help bring new data centers online.
  • Continuously improve processes and procedures.
  • Assisting and managing relationships with external vendors and contractors.
  • Liaise with internal teams and management groups.
  • Ensure compliance with local Health & Safety standards.
  • Create and maintain metrics to drive positive changes.
  • Assist in implementing service methodologies including incident, problem, change, and capacity management.

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years of Information Technology (IT) experience, or a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent.
  • 1+ year of operations and on‑call support for data‑center facilities, mission‑critical plants, or production facilities.
  • 1+ year of networking experience (DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI Model, TCP/IP).

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of data‑center engineering or operations experience.
  • Experience communicating results to senior leadership or creating financial/operational reports that inform business decisions.
  • Experience conducting interviews and making effective hiring decisions.
  • Project management certification such as PMP, Scrum, or other Agile certification.
  • Knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, EBS, and S3.

The base salary range for this position is $107,700.00 – $188,500.00 annually. The package includes sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs), with final compensation based on experience, qualifications, and location.
