Job Description

Within the Cyber & Security Solutions Business Area, we are looking for a Strategy Manager for our Rome Laurentina office. The resources will be inserted into the Strategy – Inorganic Growth Strategy Function which has the mission of supporting the achievement of the Division’s strategic-industrial objectives through the identification, evaluation and execution of inorganic growth initiatives (including M&A operations, strategic equity, JVs, Newcos, business disposals, etc.). The person we identify must guarantee, in full autonomy:
Responsibilities
- The management of project activities relating to inorganic growth initiatives, with the ability to coordinate advisors and stakeholders, ensuring project objectives, progress, quality of deliverables and respect for deadlines;
- The carrying out of economic-financial analysis and business planning activities, contributing to the evaluation of risks, opportunities and industrial sustainability of operations;
- The resource support market scouting and monitoring activities for Cyber and Digital, analyzing companies, start-ups and sector trends, and contribute to the preparation of informative and decision-making materials for management and the M&A Committee.
Education
Master’s Degree in Economics and Finance, Corporate Finance, Management Engineering or similar fields.
Seniority
Senior. At least 5-6 years of experience in large industrial companies or consulting firms with responsibility roles and coordination of working groups is required.
Technical and IT knowledge and skills
- Solid economic-financial and strategic analysis skills of target companies, with identification of risks and opportunities of the operation;
- Ability to build financial models and business plan analysis;
- Ability to prepare materials for top management and decision-making committees, ensuring synthesis, clarity and consistency of information;
- Experience in international contexts and interaction with foreign stakeholders;
- Advanced use of the Office package, in particular Excel and PowerPoint;
- The ability to use databases, specialized information sources and analysis and reporting tools is a preferential requirement;
- Knowledge of the Cybersecurity and Digital domains relevant to the Division, with a basic understanding of the offering and positioning of target companies;
- Experience in M&A operations (acquisitions and disposals), including valuation activities, financial analysis and due diligence, with autonomous management capabilities for specific phases of the process, is a preferential requirement.
Language Skills
Excellent knowledge of English.
