La posizione è aperta all’interno del team di Leonardo.**Job Description:**Leonardo is one of the strategic industrial partners in the GCAP (Global Combat Air Programme), together with the British BAE Systems and the Japanese Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, aimed at developing and implementing a new generation aerial system, defined as a “system of systems”. Used for multi-domain operations in defense, the system will feature a “core platform” connected with other peripheral “adjuncts” systems, both manned and unmanned.The program, one of the most challenging and futuristic for the aerospace and defense industry, will drive the technological revolution that will characterize the sector over the next fifty years. A challenge aimed at strengthening the technological and industrial sovereignty of the countries involved, as it seeks to identify and make available those innovative, enabling technologies that will ensure a generational leap, generating positive returns and economic and social progress for the entire country system, benefiting new generations.Resources working within this program will have the opportunity to access a professional growth path in an international and technologically advanced context.Within the Secure Cloud Infrastructure Area, we are looking for an experienced Cloud Architect to join our team in Genoa, Rome, and Naples, to design, implement, and manage scalable and secure cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in cloud architecture, managing public cloud infrastructures, and strategic consulting for migrating systems to the cloud.The person will be responsible for the following activities:* Selection of the most appropriate cloud resources for each project, identifying the best architectural and configuration options according to the required needs, ensuring that costs are efficient and performance is optimal.* Design of complex cloud architectures, creating solutions based on Azure cloud to meet customer requirements with particular attention to security aspects (Integrity, availability, and confidentiality), effectiveness and efficiency of the designed solutions, also ensuring that the designed solutions are scalable and performant.* Integration of cloud solutions with on-premise infrastructures.* Design, implementation, management, and optimization of Microsoft public cloud-based systems and services and other Microsoft cloud SaaS services (Azure and M365 SaaS services).* The role therefore involves ensuring the scalability, security, and performance of cloud environments, often collaborating with software developers, system administrators, and security engineers.* Collaboration in Hybrid Cloud projects in the defense and/or industrial markets.* Having knowledge of the main issues related to data management in cloud contexts.**Education:**Degree in Engineering or STEM disciplines or equivalent experience.**Seniority:**Expert with 3-5 years of experience.At least 3 years in Information Technologies projects in Cloud and/or On-Premise environments with excellent knowledge of technologies and attention to security aspects.**Required Technical Knowledge and Skills:*** Experience in designing cloud architectures based on the Landing Zone concept, particularly on Microsoft Azure cloud (at least 3 years of practical experience required).* Experience with the Infrastructure-as-a-Code (IaaC) approach, particularly desirable knowledge of the Terraform tool.* Experience in designing high-availability architectures (Disaster Recovery, High Availability, Business Continuity).**Desired Technical Knowledge and Skills:*** Experience in designing SaaS cloud services, including the Microsoft M365 suite (SharePoint, Exchange, Teams, Office), ServiceNow, InTune.* Knowledge of cloud-based and hybrid monitoring solutions.* Knowledge of cloud-based and hybrid backup solutions.* Experience in designing Identity Access Management (EntraID) architectures.* Familiarity with the DevOps and Agile approach.* Desirable knowledge of on-cloud and hybrid Key Management System solutions.* Desirable knowledge of container orchestration solutions.**Behavioral Skills:*** Good predisposition to teamwork.* Effective communication skills.* Being a reliable and flexible team player.* Having a creative mindset and the ability to analyze problems effectively.**Language Skills:*** Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English (minimum European C1 level).**Other (e.G., Willingness to travel, Specific Certifications…):*** Willingness to undertake frequent national and international travel.* Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification desirable.**Seniority:**Expert**Primary Location:**IT - Genoa - Fiumara**Additional Locations:**IT - Naples - Bleriot, IT - Rome - Via Laurentina**Contract Type:**Permanent**Hybrid Working:**HybridQuesta opportunità è disponibile nelle seguenti città: Genova, Napoli, Roma.
