Cybersecurity Specialist

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Specialist to join our IT team and support the monitoring, protection, and continuous improvement of our security infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone passionate about cybersecurity, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to a proactive and evolving security environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security logs using EDR/XDR and SIEM solutions.
• Support the configuration and management of firewalls and perimeter security systems.
• Assist in managing security tools (e.g., antivirus, Microsoft 365 Defender, Cloudflare ).
• Contribute to vulnerability assessments , patch management, and risk mitigation activities.
• Support incident response processes and security investigations.
• Create and maintain security documentation and procedures .
• Participate in security awareness initiatives (e.g., phishing simulations, internal training).
• Produce regular reports on security KPIs and key events .
• Assist in reviewing and improving IT security policies and controls .

Requirements

• Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices (e.g., CIA triad, defense-in-depth, zero trust).
• Good knowledge of Windows and Linux environments .
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (protocols, firewall, VPN, NAT, DNS).
• Familiarity with security monitoring tools .
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving mindset.
• Good communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with security-focused Linux distributions (e.g., Kali Linux ).
• Basic knowledge of network traffic analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark, tcpdump).
• Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, MITRE ATT&CK).
• Knowledge of cloud security (Azure, AWS).
• Entry-level cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Microsoft SC-900 ).
