The Cybersecurity Sales Specialist will primarily be responsible for driving cybersecurity solutions and services sales across the Italian area and assigned accounts, generating and maturing pipeline, qualifying opportunities, coordinating sales pursuits, and contributing commercial and technical input to winning proposals. Additional responsibilities include positioning Schneider Electric’s cybersecurity portfolio, supporting Industrial Digital Transformation (IDT) go‑to‑market initiatives, and building strong customer relationships to accelerate growth.
Your tasks
Drive cybersecurity sales growth through account development, opportunity identification, sales support, and contribution to compelling proposals
Use market insight, customer intimacy, internal relationships, and cybersecurity industry knowledge to generate pipeline through existing and new sales channels
Position cybersecurity solutions that address customer business needs and align with IDT Schneider Electric’s global approach
Partner with the global Schneider Electric IDT sales organization and technical experts to translate cybersecurity services into measurable customer outcomes
Maintain strong knowledge of Schneider Electric cybersecurity offers, related technologies, and target vertical industries to support consultative selling
Share market feedback with IDT sales and global product or service teams to strengthen value propositions and improve offer competitiveness
Support sales enablement, forecasting, opportunity tracking, commercial documentation, and training activities as requested by the Global CS Commercial Director
Your profile
You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a computer‑related field and a proven track record in consultative selling of high‑technology or cybersecurity solutions, ideally in an international environment
Strong analytical and commercial skills to assess customer needs, qualify opportunities, and translate complex requirements into actionable sales strategies
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills combined with a strong teamwork attitude
You bring solid OT and industrial cybersecurity knowledge, including familiarity with ICs and SCADA environments, and ideally hold a cybersecurity certification such as IEC 62443, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent
Your technical understanding enables you to discuss industrial automation systems credibly with customers while collaborating effectively with delivery and engineering teams
You show initiative, act with urgency, and follow opportunities through to successful closure
The ability to identify new market segments and growth opportunities for cybersecurity solutions and services is one of your key strengths
Enthusiasm, resilience, and a professional customer‑facing attitude are essential for success in this position
Willingness to travel within ITALY up to 50%
You speak fluent Italian and English
