⚡ First, Who
You are a highly specialized expert in radio frequency security with a strong R&D mindset. You possess deep problem-solving skills, excellent technical documentation abilities, and thrive in environments that bridge the gap between academic research and industrial application.
⚡ Then What
You will spearhead Wireless Security initiatives, focusing on the identification of attack vectors, vulnerability analysis of radio protocols, and the development of advanced defense mechanisms. By leveraging Software Defined Radio (SDR) technologies, you will design, test, and document cutting-edge applications to secure wireless communications and critical infrastructures.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct R&D activities focused on the cybersecurity of wireless protocols, identifying flaws in signal transmission and data encapsulation.
- Design and develop advanced PoCs (Proof of Concepts) using Software Defined Radio platforms to test the robustness of wireless systems.
- Deconstruct IoT and RF protocols to detect security gaps and implement high-level defense strategies.
- Draft detailed technical documentation and research reports to outline experimental findings and security audit results.
Key Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or Electronic Engineering (with 3+ years of experience in Wireless Security ) or a PhD in the same fields.
- Hands-on experience in developing security applications on SDR platforms (e.g., GNU Radio) using Python, C, and C++ .
- Strong background in Network Security, Applied Cryptography, and formal protocol analysis tools.
- Proven track record in securing wireless standards (e.g., IoT, Satellite, or Mobile protocols) within either Academia (Research) or the Cybersecurity Industry.
- GAWN (GIAC Assessing and Auditing Wireless Networks) or CWSP (Certified Wireless Security Professional).
