CX Design Intern

Publicis Sapient is seeking a CX Design Intern to join our Customer Experience and Innovation team through a curricular internship. The position is based in our Milan, Italy office (hybrid working model).

As a CX Design Intern , you will gain hands-on experience in Service Design and Strategic Design, contributing to projects in both national and international contexts. You will collaborate closely with service designers, user researchers, strategists, and other multidisciplinary professionals within a dynamic consulting environment. You will support the team at both a strategic and operational level, working in a highly collaborative and team-oriented setting.

We are looking for a motivated and curious individual with a strong interest in human-centered design and service innovation. This internship offers the opportunity to actively contribute to research, analysis, and service design activities while developing both practical and methodological skills.

What you will do

• Support the team in qualitative - quantitative research and benchmark activities
• Contribute to the creation of service and strategic design deliverables (such as archetypes/personas, customer journey maps, service blueprints, use case scenarios, and service concepts)
• Contribute to the preparation of project proposals for new business presentations
• Assist in organizing and preparing workshops
• Work alongside senior designers across different project phases
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Who we are looking for

• You are currently pursuing a degree in in Service Design or Product–Service System Design , preferably with a double-degree background in Management Engineering and you are looking for a curricular internship.
• You have a portfolio showcasing your academic projects and technical skills
• You have a strong interest in service design , strategic design , research , and innovation processes
• You have a basic understanding of key service design methods and tools
• You demonstrate good visual and verbal communication skills
• You are curious , proactive, and eager to learn
• You are comfortable working in teams and open to feedback
• You are familiar with design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, or equivalent tools)
• You are fluent in Italian and English.
