When Italian clients need something sorted, they call you.


Rotometal makes precision-engineered tooling for the print and packaging industry. Their clients are global converters running production lines that depend on components being right, on time, every time. It is a 20-year-old specialist business with a worldwide reach and a Italian operation that is growing steadily.

This role is the customer-facing engine of that Italian operation. You will manage relationships with Italian clients directly, support the Sales Manager day to day, and work in close coordination with a specialist team at head office in Poland. A few times a year, you will visit that team in person.

It is not a call centre role. There is no script, no queue, and no anonymous ticket system. You are trusted with real accounts, real relationships, and a direct line into how the business performs in Italy.


What you will be doing


You will be the central point of contact for Italian customers, keeping relationships strong and orders moving.


Day to day that means:

  • Being the first voice customers hear when they need help, an update, or a resolution
  • Supporting the Sales Manager for Italy with quotes, follow-ups, and client documentation
  • Coordinating with the team in Poland to make sure orders and information flow smoothly
  • Keeping on top of customer accounts, payments, and order status
  • Spotting patterns in data and flagging anything worth paying attention to
  • Occasionally visiting clients across Italy when face-to-face matters
  • Visiting the HQ in Poland a few times a year


What you will bring


We are open on experience level. Whether you are building your career or already have a few years of B2B customer service or sales support behind you, what counts most is attitude.

You will need:

  • Strong Italian and English communication skills, written and spoken
  • Confidence dealing with business clients
  • Good organisation and the ability to juggle several things at once
  • A genuine interest in building relationships, not just closing tickets
  • A background in or affinity for technical or industrial products is a bonus, not a requirement


Polish language skills are a real advantage here. With regular collaboration with the Polish head office team, any Polish (even conversational) will set you apart and open doors within the business.

Location

Remote, with preference for candidates based in or around the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. Some travel to clients across France will be required from time to time.
