The Role
As a Customer Service Associate , you will be part of the EMEA Customer Service team , where you will be responsible for managing the entire order fulfillment process, ensuring timely and effective responses to customer requests. Your contribution will be essential to ensuring a positive and smooth experience throughout the sales and after-sales cycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage commercial relationships with assigned foreign customers.
- Collaborate with company departments (production, administration, logistics, and shipping, quality control) to meet customer requests.
- Support the Sales team in the operational management of customers.
- Participate in the organization and management of internal and external company events.
- Enter and monitor customer orders.
- Manage after-sales activities: resolving issues related to shipping, products, complaints, returns, and warranties.
- Ensure proper administrative management and maintaining commercial relationships.
- Independent management of shipments: contacting carriers, preparing documentation (packing lists, customs clearance, non-EEC shipments), invoicing.
- Payment reminders.
- First-level technical support to customers in collaboration with the technical team.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years in a similar customer service or order management role.
- Education: Master’s degree in foreign Languages, preferably with a specialization in economics or business.
- Languages: Fluency in English and German is essential. Knowledge of another foreign language is desirable.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and order processing tools.
- Excellent team collaboration and communication abilities.
- Strong customer focus and results orientation.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
