Role purpose:

SATO Italy is looking for a talented Junior Customer Service Representative who thrives in a well-structured sales cycle environment. Your primary objective is to work directly with SATO’s customers to drive and support the customer service in the Italian market. You are here to help lift our service to the next level. This starts by feeding orders into our ERP system, but it doesn’t end there. It ends with a happy customer who has received their order in a timely manner. The complete follow-up of orders from beginning to end is your main task.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Primary point of contact for all inbound telephone calls and emails;
  • Process orders, requests for quotations, follow-up of backorders;
  • Build, maintain and manage relationships with all Business Partners and end-users.

Office Management & Administration

  • Coordinate and manage office administration activities to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Manage office-related documentation, including lease agreements, contracts, and supplier records.
  • Handle incoming mail, courier deliveries, and official correspondence.
  • Coordinate the ordering, allocation, and tracking of company assets, including laptops, mobile phones/SIM cards, and company vehicles.
  • Support company car lease administration, including documentation, renewals, maintenance scheduling, and liaison with leasing providers.
  • Maintain office supplies and coordinate purchases with approved vendors.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding activities by arranging required equipment and administrative documentation.
  • Liaise with external service providers, landlords, and facility management companies as required.
  • Ensure proper filing and maintenance of office records and administrative documentation.
  • Assist with invoicing, accounting administration, and other operational support activities when needed.

Basic requirements:

  • Degree: Economics, Marketing, Communications, Foreign Languages, Social Sciences, Humanities.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong telephone contact handling and active listening abilities with great communication skills
  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt and respond to different types of characters
  • Commercial orientation with a favor for administrative tasks
  • Organizational and structured talent able to enjoy a diversified job
  • Attention to detail; passion for excellence

Hard Skills:

  • Good level of expertise in Italian invoicing and accounting management;
  • Excellent skills in Italian and English (written and spoken)
  • Computer skills (MS Office, ERP/Oracle) - an advantage, but not mandatory (willingness to learn)

Desirable skills, but not essential:

  • Certifications/Qualifications: CRM, degree.
  • Experience: call center, help desk, front/back office, communication
  • Basic knowledge of customer management.
  • User of Oracle, Salesforce
